About the Founder – Bill Beaver

My name is Bill Beaver. My faith journey began early in Sunday School, but like many people, I drifted as life got busy. At twelve, I started working—caddying at a golf course in the summer and setting up pins at a bowling alley in winter. I learned the value of hard work and responsibility long before I truly understood the deeper blessings behind them.

When I was sixteen, I met the love of my life. By my senior year, we were engaged and planning a wedding during the height of the Vietnam War. I received my draft letter, but after failing my physical, life took a different turn. I joined a national retail company’s management training program, which led to seventeen moves in seventeen years and a growing family. Eventually, we settled in New Jersey and finally found a church community that felt like home.

My wife and I served together in church leadership and community outreach. I continue to lead a weekly Bible study and our GriefShare group to this day. After 52 years of marriage, my wife passed away following a long illness—but even through that season, we experienced countless blessings.

It was during her illness that I Believe In God Things was born. We saw firsthand how God shows up in unexpected ways—through healing moments, gentle encouragement, and the quiet strength to keep going. These “God Things” reminded us that faith isn’t about luck; it’s about grace.

To me, God Things are gifts from God that appear when you least expect them—a sunrise, a newborn’s cry, or a second chance at life through a doctor guided by God’s hand. These moments are why this brand exists: to help others see and celebrate the God Things in their own lives.
